For more than 50 years hameln pharma has been a specialist for the contract manufacturing of parenteral solutions and suspensions. The more than 350 employees of hameln pharma manufacture liquid pharmaceutical products – either aseptically or terminally sterilised and filled in ampoules or vials – for both national and international pharma companies.

The sterile pharmaceutical products manufactured by hameln pharma are predominantly used in hospitals and the intensive care. Accordingly hameln pharma has extensive konwledge and many years of experience when it comes to the production of highly demanding pharmaceutical products such as anaesthetics, flammable liquids and cold chain products.
On the basis of a certification according to cGMP and FDA hameln pharma produces pharmaceuticals which can be distributed to all healthcare markets in the world.

In addition to its core business of contract manufacturing hameln pharma offers its customers a comprehensive portfolio of ancillary services: from product establishment to the galenical and analytical developement up to stability studies and compliance checks as well as storage and distribution – even of controlled drugs.

With its new sterile facility which the company has built and put it into operation after a project time of only 25 months at its headquarters in Hameln, hameln pharma has increased its production capacities significantly and has created space for the implementation of innovative technologies. In March 2009, hameln pharma´s new sterile facility has been awarded the internationally renowned Facility of the Year Award 2009 in the category Operational Excellence.
